Thanks to everyone who joined the conversation in this week's Circle Up!
Across the country there are Centering groups for cancer survivors, diabetes, chronic pain, obesity, asthma, HIV, adolescents, sleep and lifestyle change. We are thrilled to have a CenteringHealthcare® Facilitator’s Guide in development for innovators who are inspired to facilitate group visits for these and other chronic health conditions.
The potential for CenteringHealthcare groups is enormous:
ADHD (pediatric, adolescent, adult)
Adolescents (might include reproductive health, safe sex, depression, anxiety, HPV vaccinations)
Asthma (pediatric, adolescent, adult)
Autoimmune (rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, Crohns, Celiac, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Hashimoto’s disease, arthritis)
Cancer
Cardiac
Chronic pain
Diabetes (prevention, management; pediatric and adult)
Healthy Lifestyle (including nutrition, weight management, mental well-being, stress management, sleep, smoking cessation)
HIV (HIV prep or Living with HIV)
Menopause
Obesity (at risk pediatrics, adolescent and adult)
Pelvic Pain
Recovery (suboxone, opioid)
Transgender care
Would love to hear from people who have adapted the Centering model for use with other patient populations.

We can’t wait to hear all about it! Omaha Integrative Care is the first practice to start groups using the new CenteringHealthcare framework.

I would love to hear if anyone is using the Centering Model for well women. I have often thought that it would be such a great way to provide a more thorough educational experience for well women.

FYI Everyone - Omaha Integrative Health will be presenting a Circle Up webinar on November 28 on their Centering Autoimmune Group. Check out the webinar details on the CHI Portal under upcoming Webinars! As the Circle Up organizer, I would love to hear about your other healthcare groups and how it is going!

I'm working with a clinic that is interested in people starting a Centering menopause group. If you have done this, would you be willing to share your lessons learned?

Hi Liz,
We are working on a Centering Menopause group right now! Did anyone ever send you resources or lessons learned? Specifically, we would appreciate any tips on ensuring that these are billable visits so that our system will support this very needed group. We would also love to see any sample curriculum or materials that other sites have developed. Thanks!
