We just launched our Centering program and we just wanted to see what most groups were doing to obtain the AFPs. We feel that obtaining them within our Centering time may impede too much into the session and we were thinking about having them done when our patients have their 20 week US. Would love to hear what you're doing in your Centering practices. Thanks!

My co-facilitators are MAs or LPNs and they draw the Quad screens in our Centering room during the first 45 minutes of sessions 1 & 2 (when I am doing belly checks), or during break if needed.

Our MA's will draw their lab during the first 30 minutes or if they are unable to get them all done at that time we draw at break time.

We have them drawn by our LabCorp rep at the beginning during the first 30 minutes of assessment or during our 10 min restroom break we take halfway through

I bring them to group and patients go to the lab after group is over. We do previsit calls to remind patients to come and inform yhem that they will need to stop by the lab afterward so that they can plan accordingly.
