The Centering Consultant represents Centering Healthcare Institute (CHI) and promotes Centering® to organizations and individuals by providing implementation support for Centering models and group care facilitation training. The Consultant is equally comfortable interacting with staff, providers and leadership across a wide range of clinical practice settings. They are able to quickly assess the priorities, challenges and opportunities at each practice in order to effectively support and guide the practice toward successful and sustainable Centering care. The Consultant is able to think creatively and adjust quickly to changing and/or challenging circumstances.
This is a .45 FTE position with time dedicated primarily to consultation and training events. A small percentage of time is devoted to projects and organizational responsibilities. This position requires extensive travel with the Consultant conducting 2-3 consultation and training events per month at sites around the country. The candidate must be willing to travel throughout the U.S. and be flexible to work on any days of the week.
