We had a great question come up from amydonaldson63 in another thread about recommendations for apps that patients can use as references to look up various topics for themselves and/or their babies. Have you recommended any to your patients? If so, we'd love to hear what they are. Xposted in CenteringPregnancy board.

I am interested in Centering because: I want to make a difference in someones life for the better and help educate them about the better way of healthcare. I am passionate about what I do with our Centering Program at Kaiser Permanente. I love the lifelong friendships that I build while going thru the journey of pregnancy for all of my patients. I love the personal care that patients receive and I love to keep our groups fun and current. Coming up on being accredited for a year in Jan 2018 and we have grown so much. Already starting 2 groups a month starting Dec 2017, beat our goal to start 2 by a month. #MicDrop

I am interested in Centering because: The centering model and facilitative leadership provide families with the support, education & assessments they need to become partners in their own care.

I would like to share that we do recommend to our patients "BabyCenter.com and BabyCenter/Espanol" web site and or app. It's very helpful, it shows a several informative videos such as how is a vaginal delivery without medication, Delivery by Cesarean Section, Nutrition, Care, Ideas for baby shower, relaxation techniques and much more. We had integrated the delivery videos on Session 6 and patients get to watch meantime that Our Providers are performing the medical assessments. Kind regards, CGarza

I also encourage patients to get Pregnancy Workout Advisor, it has a kick counter, best sleeping positions, what foods to eat and foods to avoid, weight tracker , baby growth info ect. I also like What to Expect App, isn't it crazy how years ago we use all these apps and back when I had my first child , I had to read an entire book and it still didn't go like the book said it would go ! HAHA Please post any other helpful apps so I can share with my patients, were in a techy area so any info would be helpful!
