I am wondering when other centers cancel a Parenting group? I know the ideal patient load for group is 6-8 and it is hard to facilitate a smaller group, but what would be the minimum, 4? Also, what is the maximum number you have allowed in a group?

There isn't a guideline around when to cancel a group. We typically suggests that groups are 6-8 mom/baby pairs in order to have appointments last two hours. If the group is smaller, about 3-4 people, you can shorten the meeting time to about 60 mins. It can be tricky to start off with a small group, because there is the possibility of attrition. You could continue recruiting for this group and see if you can add a couple more mom/baby pairs. If the moms are finding the time in group beneficial and are attending consistently—these are great reasons to continue. I hope this helps! Here's a previous post about running smaller Centering groups.
