WA - Washington Centering Consortium
#BOOM SITE VISIT APPROVED - Thank you Centering Healthcare
Posts: 83
I work at a: Healthcare Facility
My job role is: Healthcare Provider
I am interested in Centering because: I want to make a difference in someones life for the better and help educate them about the better way of healthcare. I am passionate about what I do with our Centering Program at Kaiser Permanente. I love the lifelong friendships that I build while going thru the journey of pregnancy for all of my patients. I love the personal care that patients receive and I love to keep our groups fun and current. Coming up on being accredited for a year in Jan 2018 and we have grown so much. Already starting 2 groups a month starting Dec 2017, beat our goal to start 2 by a month. #MicDrop

Wow this is AWESOME!!!!! If anyone else has time to watch this definitely do it! Its only 40 min but its awesome to hear that the word is getting out and more and more ppl are talking about Centering. I am so glad you posted this and I have forwarded it to my work email and I am going to send it to the admin team at Kaiser Permanente that I work close with because I think they would love this also. They are so supportive and are eager to hear about updates, changes and any feedback about Centering , the process and the feedback. Thanks again!

All the more reason to reach out to krivas at March of Dimes and ask how you can help to support the WA Centering Consortium

It was interesting to me how one senator temporarily hijacked the conversation to talk about opioids and Native Americans. The team did a masterful job of getting them back to the business at hand. I think this video could serve as prep for others who may be testifying to government bodies.
