I am drafting a budget for a grant application and was wondering what the costs were for particular items: - Automated blood pressure cuff
- Portable scale to weight patients
- Doppler for heart tones
- Name tag supplies
- Exam table/map
- Food for each session
Thanks for your help!

For snacks, we use an average of $20 per session (or $2 per woman per session).

I am interested in Centering because: it has the potential to improve the lives of people in our community and is a fulfilling experience for healthcare providers!

The prices on these items can vary greatly depending on what brand/quality you want. We use an Omron blood pressure cuffs that costs about $80. omronhealthcare.com/products/7-series-upper-arm-blood-pressure-monitor-bp760n/ At our site with dedicated centering space we use a recovery couch for the exam table and we use portable massage tables or yoga mats at our other locations. I would budget about $150 for each massage table needed. The recovery couch would be much more expensive costing closer to $500. We also use the $20 per expected participant for snack budgeting ($2 per person per session). Fetal Dopplers can also be expensive. The Huntleigh fetal dopplers we use in clinic cost about $600 although I am sure there are much less expensive options available. I ordered our scale from Hopkins medical for about $60. It weighs up to 440lbs. www.hopkinsmedicalproducts.com/general-use-scales/p/Hopkins-EZ-Carry-440LB-Digital-Scale/ For name tags and office supplies I would just search Office Max to price out what items you want. We like to use the reusable name badge holders with clips. Hope this helps!

Thanks! This is a huge help. I also talked to one of our DO providers about tables and she had recommended the massage table over a manipulation table due to extra cushioning.
