Hello,
I am the new Centering Nurse Lead at our OBGYN practice here in Benton Harbor, MI. I just watched the recording of the Creating a System of Support at Your Site webinar, and I would love to know if the resources or powerpoints or anything else from this webinar were shared or posted, or able to be shared or posted? I am specifically interested in Amy's in-house training information and the powerpoint about group intakes at Ball Memorial Hospital.
Can anyone help direct me to those if they are shared somewhere?

Marena Burnett may know! At the very least we can connect you to the creators of the slides...

Hello, I'm new to this site, but this thread piqued my interest as I am looking to understand where there are CenteringPregnancy sites that are implemented by physicians (especially male physicians) and what their experience is like. I'm attempting to write a proposal to implement CP in a busy OB practice, however need the buy-in of the physicians who work with the 2.0 FTE midwives. The midwives are favorable to the idea, however I believe the physicians need evidence that their practice won't suffer (take patients away) and/or be offered the opportunity to consider providing centering as an alternative for their patients. Has this happened anywhere that might be willing to connect with me? Thank you!

Hi Arli, I hope some practices chime in as this is a common thread at many practices: various provider groups competing for patients and only one is doing Centering. It can be an issue (perhaps a good one) once Centering is established and patients are asking to be in groups ; ) Of our almost 600 sites around the country, many practices have multiple provider types offer Centering. And I'm sure a fair amount are male physicians, especially in family medicine. While we don't track this kind of information, maybe you could start by contacting the practices in Nebraska? They are listed here. Please let us know how else we can help you get buy-in from your physicians. We know this way of providing care is more fun for provider and patient! Or maybe start with the midwives and let the physicians see how much fun they are having...
