Links for videos: Below are links for the videos I like best in order of my favorite ones. But many videos have been done by sites all over the U.S. Just go to You Tube and type in CenteringPregnancy and you will find many more.
McNulty Award: Dr. Amy Crockett’s work in South Carolina impacting birth outcomes with CenteringPregnancy. (4 minutes 37 seconds) Very powerful in a short amount of time.
This is a video about CenteringPregnancy by MAHEC OB/Gyn Specialists. A great overview of CenteringPregnancy in English that is not site-specific so could really be used at any site.
The One Thing in My Week that Brings Me Joy: Sharon Rising, Founder of Centering Healthcare Institute, explains model, shows groups, residents’ experiences. (9 minutes 47 seconds) Uses original components’ names of Assessment, Education and Support rather than new names of components— Health Assessment, Interactive Learning and Community Building, but very informative.
The Future Video: Animated for CenteringPregnancy; very short. (3 minutes 5 seconds) Explains the need for change in prenatal care and how Centering Healthcare Insitute can help in that change.
CenteringPregnancy: Cuidado Prenatal de Calidad entre Amigas. In Spanish. Uses old component names and logos. (10 minutes 47 seconds). University of California San Francisco. But it is in Spanish and has hispanic women speaking and telling their stories. Same video is also in English.
CenteringParenting testimonial: Greenville, SC (2 minutes 47 seconds) Not professionally done, but a good testimony of patient sharing her experiences.
CenteringParenting: Very short video done by Michelle Gallas, pediatric DO, at Community Care in Austin, who started the first CenteringParenting groups in Texas. Show the women in the parenting group singing to their babies in Spanish.
