Hello,
Does CHI have any policies on how to handle parents who choose not to vaccinate their child? How have other Centering sites handled this?

CHI does not have official guidelines but I, too, am curious what other sites do! This may be a great discussion for one of the public boards.

Can you say more about what you mean by handle? We have a fair number of families who don't immunize or do adjusted schedules.

Do other sites allow infants whose parents refuse immunizations participate in Centering Parenting group? If so, how do you address that in the group? Is there waivers signed so that the healthcare center is not liable for infants getting sick from a non-immunized infants or vice versa?

How can I post it on a public board? My mistake, sorry! This CenteringParenting board is indeed public, for some reason I thought this post was in the In-House Trainers (private) board.

Yes, they participate in CParenting group. No waivers. We don't really address it in the group. I think most places you go with young children these days, there will be other children not immunized.
