We are excited to share some great news for our sites and medical professionals!
Through a joint providership with HonorHealth, CHI will now award Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits to participating medical practitioners for successfully completing our Centering facilitation workshops and information seminars. Beginning March 1, 2019, this is part of CHI’s efforts to provide resources that ensure quality implementation and support continuous learning for our Centering practice sites.
CHI’s workshops and information seminars have been approved for the following AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™:
· Basic Facilitation Workshop - 13.5 CMEs
· Advanced Facilitation Workshop - 7.25 CMEs
· In-House Trainer Preparation Workshop - 20.25 CMEs
· Information Seminar - 6.75 CMEs.
All participants, including licensed medical doctors, Doctor of Osteopathy, physician’s assistants, family nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives, who successfully complete the workshops are eligible to receive CME credits towards their licensing requirements.
CHI continues to offer Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) through the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) to registered nurses, behavioral health professionals and certified nurse midwives.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Arizona Medical Association (ArMA) through the joint provider ship of HonorHealth and Centering Healthcare.
