We are having a discussion in our office over whether we have to give the CenteringPregnancy patients an Epic After Visit Summary print out. They are getting a tremendous amount of education via the patient handbook and another site specific booklet that they are given plus the discussions at every succession. We do have someone checking our CP patients out, but do they need to be handed this summary and do you give them the additional educational printouts? Can those of you who use the Epic system give me your input and tell me how you handle this? Thanks for any help you can give us!
