Do you bill for the reunion session and if so how?

Many sites bill for the reunion when they run it as a visit and not just a get together. Make sure that the charts are all checked ahead of time in case there is something that needs follow up. When the moms get there, they check their own vitals and bring them to the private assessment area for their check in. In addition to birth stories the session content and post group documentation can include one of the following for billing purposes: * Family Planning/contraception * Depression - A depression screen can be a part of the assessment, and the topic included in discussion. * Breastfeeding - Each of these topics has a billing code so the appropriate code must be used. We found that many moms were still covered by the global fee, so there was no actual money, but we billed the visit for internal auditing and productivity. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
