I am working on a Power Point presentation to update my department on Centering. We have many new staff members so I want to make sure I cover all the great research out there on Centering. Does anyone have some slides that they are willing to share? Just thought I would check and not recreate the wheel if it already exists!

Hi Laura, I will send you what we use in workshops and other presentations, but it will be interesting to see what others use as well. Let us know how else we can help you prepare! The one slide is too big to attach here but it says: - A Yale University randomized control trial found CenteringPregnancy reduced preterm births by 33%, preventing 40 preterm births for every 1,000 deliveries (Ickovics et al. Obstetrics & Gynecology 2007)
- A 2012 study found a 47% reduction in preterm birth for women in Centering (Picklesimer, et al. American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology)
- A 2009 study showed a 6% preterm birth rate for women in Centering compared to the regional rate of 13.7% in rural Kentucky. (Skelton et al. Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved)
