Hello Everyone! My name is Jalana and I am a midwife and experienced Centering Pregnancy Facilitator in Dayton Ohio who is now pursuing a PhD on the Experiences of Midwives Facilitating Group Antenatal Care at City, University of London. As part of my PhD I am conducting a survey of midwives who have facilitated group prenatal care (e.g. Centering Pregnancy) in the U.S., the U.K, the Netherlands and Australia. Tanya Munroe kindly agreed to let me post this survey on Centering Connects. If you're a midwife who might be interested in participating please read on!
Dear Midwife Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well in difficult times. As part of PhD research on midwives and group antenatal care, I am asking midwives who are currently working, or have in the past worked, as facilitators of group antenatal care (e.g. Centering Pregnancy, Pregnancy Circles, or other group antenatal care models), to take part in a survey about their experiences.
Group antenatal care is internationally recommended as positive option in antenatal care, and research is in progress in many countries on ways to implement and expand this model, particularly in the midst of a global pandemic. Midwives are often called on to lead or work in these initiatives, and thus it is important for us to have our say. Please make your voice heard by clicking on the link below:

The survey should take you approximately fifteen minutes to complete and your participation is voluntary and confidential. You will find a more detailed information sheet through the link. As a token of appreciation for your time and effort, participants can enter a draw for a $100.00 electronic gift card.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
Any questions or concerns about this survey should be directed to Jalana.Lazar@city.ac.uk.
This study has been reviewed by, and received ethics clearance from, the School of Health Sciences Research Ethics Committee at City, University of London. Solicitation of CNM/CM participants for this study has been approved by ACNM.
