There are several well-established Centering state consortia & networks across the country like VA (inc. MD and DC), GA, NC, and SC. We have newly developing state consortia in many states like IN, MA, MI, NJ, NY, OH and WI. Some are lead by a Centering site, some by a supportive partner or funder, some by CHI and some by a combination of any of three. Goals may include: - creating an in-person and call-based forum for sharing best practices and brainstorming solutions to common challenges
- identifying local training options
- raising local visibility for Centering
- creating statewide data sets
- pursuing funding to support the scale-up and spread of Centering
- lobbying Medicaid and other payers for enhanced reimbursement
As new consortia and networks develop, we are hearing the same question: who has gotten funding for this and how did they do it?I will be looking into answers to this question and sharing them here, please feel free to add your questions and experience as well!
