Is it really only Wednesday? It has already been a busy week for the CHI Team. On Monday, we launched the all new Centering Healthcare Institute web site, www.centeringhealthcare.org/. We are hoping this helps the Centering community spread the word about the model and educate our many stakeholder audiences on the difference that is being made for moms and babies. We also think the resources and support that CHI offers practices should be easier to find now. But please let us know your thoughts and suggestions!
Yesterday, we shared that CHI has been selected as one of three finalists for the inaugural Hearst Health Prize, www.centeringhealthcare.org/news/finalists-announced-centering-healthcare-institute-finalist-for-hearst-health-prize. This is an amazing opportunity to reach new communities and raise awareness about Centering. Colleen and I will be thrilled to be in Philadelphia next month to learn who will ultimately bring home this amazing recognition and the cash prize. But, it truly is an honor to be a finalist.
