Based on their annual report using CenteringCounts™ Health Outcomes Summary, Methodist Dallas Medical Center Golden Cross Clinic has recorded 811 outcomes since 2008. They implemented CenteringPregnancy to address the unusually high rate of preterm birth in its service area (18%). Here are some of their highlights:
· 5% of babies born before 37 weeks
· 5% of babies born with low birth weight
· 1% of babies born with very low birth weight
· 6% of babies admitted to NICU
· 96% breastfeeding at discharge
