I have been gathering stories of experiences from both patients and providers for a Mother's Day campaign. But I want to collect these stories all throughout the whole year to share on social media and CenteringConnects. If you, your patients or staff that would like to share a story (doesn't have to be super long either), please email me at nlewis@centeringhealthcare.org or if you would like to reply to this thread that is great, too (just note this is not a private thread).
We would love 1-2 paragraphs (or more – whatever you’re comfortable with) describing your experience in a narrative way. Here are some questions to provoke thought or to guide your storytelling.
Feel free to just answer the questions that you're comfortable answering or use them to start writing your own narrative.
Thank you so much!
Patients
1. What made you decide to choose Centering care?
2. What were your favorite thing(s) about your Centering experience? Describe them and why.
3. What was your interaction like with your provider?
4. Did your feelings about Centering change from the first session versus the last?
5. What are some things you learned?
6. Did you feel connected to your group?
If so how?
7. What would you say to someone who is thinking about doing Centering?
8. Have you done Centering before? If so, how is this time different and the same?
Providers/Centering Staff
1. Why do you practice Centering?
2. What are your favorite things about the Centering model?
3. How has the implementation of Centering impacted your work?
4. What convinced you to practice Centering?
5. Have you been able to connect more with patients? If so, please explain.

6. Has practicing the Centering model changed you as a healthcare professional? How?
